"Sidaroedums" on Chebeague Island, Maine

I asked a very wise local Chebeaguer, Mr. Don Buxbaum (Ferryboat Captain, Banker, Fireman, and Elvis Fan Club President), the names of some of the indigenous wildflowers. True to his "Down-East" wit he quickly replied, "Sidaroedums!"
